XML Publisher Data Definition and Template Standards

1.   Oracle Apps standard naming convention has been followed.

2.   Revision History like Date,Name,Revision,Description should be added in Data Definition.

3.   If Data definition includes input parameters validate the data type of those parameters.

4.   SQL Query : Keywords used in SQL should be capital.

5.   SQL Query : Proper alias are given to selected columns (Optional).

6.   If Before Report Trigger is used in Data Definition to call data base package, return type of function used in 

7.   Trigger should be Boolean.

8.   In Data Structure tag of Data Definition "element" and it’s "value" should match which element name in 

Template.

9.   In XSL Template Worksheet name should be provided.

10. Group Name in Data Definition should match with Group name in Template name.

11. RTF Template : Layout of the template should be properly structure.

12. RTF Template : Names given to field in template should relate with Column values.
